Phoenix Dosimetry is a leader in the supply of Dosimetry and Radation equipment, peripherals and service support for Dosimetry Services and Hospitals. We are the exclusive UK and Irish distributor for the ‘Harshaw TLD’ Product range manufactured by Thermo-Fisher Scientific.

Our staff have over 30 years of experience in Dosimetry and our in-depth knowledge means we approach what we do with expertise, passion and the knowledge we are all working together to make a difference.

We understand the needs of our customers and appreciate that buying equipment for Dosimetry may only be a small part of their job. That is why we endeavour to make things as simple as possible.

Director – Sales

Mike Sweeney

Mike is responsible for the commercial aspects of the business where he visits customers to discuss potential requirements, he also attends several trade shows/exhibitions each year to promote Phoenix Dosimetry to our valued customer base. He started in this industry back in 1982 at Nuclear Enterprises.

Senior Service & Support Engineer

Alan Balharrie

Alan works with Neil to provide field service and system installations as well as technical support to the ever expanding customer base. He has been in the industry since joining Vinten Instruments in 1985.

Regional Sales Manager

Dawn Broadhead

Dawn works closely with Mike to assist with Sales in the Northern half of the UK to ensure an even coverage of customers in the UK and Ireland

Bench Engineer

Ken Bosley

Ken provides a comprehensive bench repair service for legacy NE and Mini Instruments products. He also produces the specialist dosimetry cables and NE2571/NE2581 Chambers to the original specifications. He joined NE Technology in 1981 and has an unrivalled knowledge of NE and Thermo Instrumentation.

Office Manager

Tracey Rippon

Tracey is Office Manager, working closely with Mike to ensure smooth running of the day to day duties organising and coordinating all office operations and procedures. Responsible for reviewing correspondence, providing quotations, processing orders and order dispatches, together with co ordinating all office operations and monitoring clerical functions.

Administration

Sharon Cannon

Sharon works along side our Service Team as Service Co-ordinator, working closely with Alan and the other Engineers to co-ordinate site visits and maintenance contracts as well as assisting Tracey with office administration. She is also responsible for content marketing, updating our website, literature and social media communication with our customers.
